Pick two or three places and read their entry, hours, address, phone and trails side by side. The facts come from our own place pages, which carry the Minnesota DNR’s park data and each operator’s own page.
Loading the places you picked.
How To Compare
- Open any page under Places (state parks, lakes, historic sites, attractions) and tap Compare under the title. Pick up to three; the tray at the bottom of the page keeps them.
- Press Compare in the tray. Each row says Not listed when our page does not print that fact; we never fill a gap with a guess.
- The link to this page carries your picks, so you can send a comparison to someone.
Where To Start
What We Could Not Verify
- Park facts are the Minnesota DNR’s, read on November 1, 2026. Other places are from each operator’s own page; hours, fees and permits change, so confirm before you go.
- Kids and accessibility details are not printed on every place page, so this table does not compare them. Use the Official Page link in each column.
- The table is read from the live place pages each time you open it, so it is as current as those pages.
Questions People Ask
How many places can I compare?
Up to three at a time. Adding a fourth drops the oldest pick.
Where do the facts come from?
From our place pages for each park, lake and attraction, which cite the Minnesota DNR or the operator’s own site. Each column links the official page.
Does it work without JavaScript?
No. The comparison is read in your browser. Without it, open each place page and read the same facts there.
